Vallerie E. Coleman, Ph.D. (right) is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst who has  been in practice for over 20 years.  Equine Assisted Psychotherapy allows Dr. Coleman to combine her analytical wisdom with her love and respect for horses - maximizing the powerful capacity these magnificent animals have for facilitating human growth and development.

Laurie Brooks Jefferson, MA, M.F.T. (left) has been in private practice since 1981 with offices in Agoura and Encino. She has over 40 years of equine experience and is thrilled to be able to include horses in the therapeutic process.

Amy Pulitzer, MA, M.F.T.i (center)  has worked with horses since childhood. Equine Assisted psychotherapy is the perfect combination for Amy because of her passion to learn from the horse as well as the human. She is currently an M.F.T. intern with InBalance and Counseling West in Woodland Hills. She earned her graduate degree in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

All InBalance professionals are E.A.G.A.L.A certified.
