At InBalance, we offer customized workshops and that are based on using the natural leadership requirements of horses to help teams and individuals enhance leadership skills, improve communication, and increase social and emotional intelligence.
Getting out of the board room and into nature provides an opportunity relaxation and renewal. As individual’s awaken their innate wisdom and connection with the natural world, they create health within themselves, their organizations and communities and, ultimately, the planet. Moreover, authentic connection to oneself and nature invites increased creativity, improved collaboration, and greater productivity.
Unlike humans, horses are prey animals and have a unique ability to sense underlying emotional currents in their environment. When used in Equine Interactive Learning, horses become powerful messengers that mirror back their direct experience of humans. They are completely congruent and authentic with what they experience.
Like humans, horses are herd animals and rely on each other for safety and survival. Horses look for leadership and give direct feedback about what effective leadership and teamwork is and what it is not.
